Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 8 June 2026
Thank you for choosing Creator Companion PRO. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you visit our website and use our macOS application. We believe in your privacy. Our core philosophy is simple: what happens on your Mac, stays on your Mac.
1. Data We Do NOT Collect in the App
Creator Companion PRO is designed to respect your privacy. The application itself:
- Does not collect, store, or transmit any personal usage data.
- Does not use any analytics or tracking tools.
- Does not send crash reports or telemetry data to our servers.
- Processes all your files and tasks locally on your device.
- Verifies your license entirely offline on your device using public-key cryptography — no license key or hardware identifier is ever sent to us, to FastSpring, or to any third party.
2. This Website: Cookies, Tracking and Server Log Files
No cookies, no tracking. This website deliberately sets no cookies and uses no tracking or web-analytics tools (such as Google Analytics). Fonts are self-hosted, so no data is transferred to third parties (such as Google) simply by loading the page.
Server log files. When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser transmits, in so-called server log files. This may include your IP address, the browser type and version, the operating system, the date and time of access, and the referring URL. This data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the secure, stable, and functional operation of the website. It is not merged with other data sources and is stored only for as long as necessary for these purposes.
3. Data Controller
The party responsible for processing your data on the application side is:
Dirk Röder
c/o POSTFLEX PFX-287-695
Emsdettener Straße 10
48268 Greven, Germany
Email: video@21hemoon.com
For data processed during the payment and checkout process, FastSpring is the responsible controller (see Section 4).
4. Payment Processing and Merchant of Record (FastSpring)
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller FastSpring.com. FastSpring is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. FastSpring handles all payment processing, customer service inquiries, and returns regarding your order.
When you purchase a license, you are buying it from FastSpring. During checkout you provide your information (such as email address, location, and payment details) directly to FastSpring.
- We do not have access to, nor do we store, your credit card information or any other financial data.
- FastSpring shares only the necessary order details with us (such as your name, email address, and the generated license key) so we can provide customer support and keep a record of your purchase.
You can find FastSpring's Privacy Policy at fastspring.com/privacy.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
We process the limited personal data we receive (your name, email address, license key, and purchase history) on the following legal bases under the GDPR:
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): to deliver your license, provide support, and keep a record of your purchase.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): to verify the validity of your license, prevent misuse of the software, and operate this website securely (see Section 2).
6. Data Retention
We retain your purchase-related data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. Records relevant to tax and accounting law (e.g. invoices) are kept for the statutory periods required under German law (generally up to 10 years, § 147 AO). Other data is deleted upon your request, unless we are legally required to keep it.
7. International Data Transfers
FastSpring is a US-based company headquartered in California. Personal data you provide during checkout (such as your name, email address, billing details, and purchase information) is therefore processed in the United States, and may be transferred to other countries where FastSpring or its sub-processors operate. Where such transfers leave the European Economic Area, they are protected by appropriate safeguards: in particular, FastSpring's self-certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and, where applicable, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Further details are available in FastSpring's Privacy Policy.
8. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data (Art. 15), correct inaccurate data (Art. 16), request erasure (Art. 17), restrict processing (Art. 18), object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21), data portability (Art. 20), and withdraw any consent at any time without affecting prior processing (Art. 7(3)).
The personal data we hold is limited to your name, email address, license key, and purchase history. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW)
Kavalleriestraße 2–4
40213 Düsseldorf, Germany
For data held by FastSpring (including your financial details), please contact FastSpring directly, as they are the controller for the payment process.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, and the date of the latest revision is shown at the top.
